What to expect

The city is still asleep at 05:30 when you roll out on your electric bike. The coastal road along My Khe Beach is empty — just the sound of the South China Sea and the distant glow on the horizon. Your guide sets an easy, effortless pace as you trace the shoreline north toward Son Tra Peninsula, the wild jungle headland that shelters Da Nang Bay. No traffic, no crowds: just women, bikes, and the gathering light.

At Son Tra Cape you watch the sun lift out of the sea from a clifftop lookout where whales and dolphins are regularly spotted in the bay below. From there the route dips into the jungle — red-shanked douc langurs swing overhead in the forest canopy — and out through a fishing village where the boats are just coming in. Breakfast is a bowl of steaming phở bò and a plate of fresh seafood at a tiny seaside café. You're back at your hotel before the city wakes up.
